Gosh, is it just me or is it colder this year?
It doesn't snow, but it kind of sleets? It makes the walks to and from campus a real shitty ordeal. It always ends up warmer by noon, though, so it's not that big of a deal, I guess.
School has been a lot lately, with winter break just around the corner. I don't mind it though, it keeps me busy and things off my mind. I emailed the head of the paleontology team I'll be working with this summer, just to confirm my spot on their crew. I'm still waiting for them to reply, but they're probably just busy. (I hope they're just busy...)
Francis is going home for the holiday, so I'll be here alone. Olivia can't make it down since she's going to visit family, too. I would try to message Mari again but... Whatever, I'm fine spending Christmas with Velo. We can watch the Harry Potter movie marathon together.
Maybe I'll call my mom.
