Well, we're almost done with another year. I only have one year to go and then it's off to Hell's Creek! And then grad school...
But after grad school, it's straight into paleontology! No more jumping through hoops! No more having to reassure my mother I'm not throwing away my life! No more creepy men and college libraries! I'm so excited.
Mari and Olivia are off to grad school after this year - but we've promised to stay in touch. It's only been like, a month, but I'm really happy to have met them, Mari especially. She's taught me a lot of things that I'd never have learned without her, and I'm sad to see her go. But there's always FaceTime! And our campuses are only an hour drive apart, so if the distance ever eats at us we can always visit! I'm super sad to see them go, but it's a new chapter in our lives! It'd be a shame to let a little sadness ruin the festivities.
Here's to summer break and one more year!
